Sanctuary of Praise Community Church (SOPCC)

God birthed the vision and mandate the Sanctuary of Praise Community Church to its founder Bishop P. Andrew Smith.

On  July 30,  2000 with a two members congregation, the church was started in the living room of a home on Ave A in Brooklyn New York.  On our third anniversary, Sanctuary of Praise Community Church moved to its present location  525 Atkins Avenue, Brooklyn New York 11208.  Our new location consists of the sanctuary on the main floor, fellowship auditorium and office on the bottom level and the Bishop's residence on the top level.

SOPCC now has a diverse and multiracial congregation from America, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Commonwealth of Dominica, Guyana, Antigua, Nigeria, Haiti and Barbados.  Our congregation is passionate about God's word.  It is powered by the Holy Spirit and proclaims Jesus Christ as its Saviour.
